Public Notary
A notary public is a government official whose role is to verify that contracts have been made in accordance with the law.
Notaries must be people who have a law degree and who subsequently approve a position to be State officials in a public competition. In this way, they are chosen by the Judicial Branch.
The main function of the notary is to “attest.” And what do you attest to? Well, a deed, a contract or a will is valid for the State and acquires the status of a public document. This is very important when testing these documents in court, since public documents enjoy a presumption of veracity and legality.
